FireCraft staves are made of crush resistant steel and the finest staff grip on the market. When shopping for a staff the length depends heavily on personal preference. Most people are comfortable with a staff that comes up anywhere from their chin to their forehead. If you are unsure of the size you want, we recommend going to your local hardware store and buying a 3/4" wooden dowel that is at least as long as you are tall. Try spinning it at its full length, and then cut it down incrementally, spinning it for a while at each length until you find what works best for you. Good luck!
